Job Description
We are seeking energetic leaders to join the team at KG Sports Bar as Bar Supervisor.
This is a role focused on delivering big game day experiences – every day. Ensuring the team deliver a high standard of service across the venue. Your background in a similar role will allow you to excel & enjoy every shift to create a venue that thrives.
What is the role all about -
- Build, lead and develop the team
- Supervise the operations of KG Sports Bar & ensure that the service is in line with outlined standards
- Closely monitor & maintain productivity across the venue
- Coordinate the team and daily operations to ensure service standards are consistently achieved.
- Work collaboratively to ensure seasonal & focused activations are executed to ensure revenue expectations are achieved.
- Build a working environment that is fun, purpose driven, professional & productive.
- HIGA Award rates are applicable.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in a similar role
- Strong people leadership capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of beer, wine & spirits,
- A drive to succeed
- Strong time management & organisational skills
- Understanding of a busy bar operation
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
- A strong interest & understanding of local & international sports
- A valid RSA
