Banquets Server

Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, just two hours north of Downtown Vancouver, Fairmont Chateau Whistler defines mountain luxury. Banquets Server

As a Banquets Server, you will help to create a special event our guests will remember. Your ability to work as a team player, combined with your service skills and your engaging personality, will ensure that our guests have a memorable experience.

This is a full-time, permanent position, starting November 26th.

Starting Rate of Pay: $17.40 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $19.05 per hour.

• Provides excellent guest service in both F&B functions and meeting events
• Sets up and tears down F&B functions as well as meeting events as required
• Helps maintain a clean and organized workplace
• Ensures that all aspects of the dining room/banquet facilities are ready
• Actively participates in the Chateau Whistler's environmental program and department specific initiatives in working towards sustainable operations

• Serving It Right Certificate are required (can be obtained upon hire)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Able to work under time constraints and with minimal supervision
• Must thrive under pressure and be knowledgeable in guest recovery
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Previous experience in Banquets is preferred
