Passionate about everything Food & Beverage and putting a smile on our guests’ faces? As Banquet Porter, you will have the perfect opportunity to touch the hearts of our guests by making their special occasions truly unforgettable. 

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests in a variety of settings, including plated and buffet banquets for breakfasts/lunch/dinner, working lunches, coffee breaks, cocktail receptions, formal evening events/galas/weddings, and off-site catering events
• Setting up, and tearing down banquet functions/conference rooms
• Lifting and moving Banquets equipment, including chairs, tables, dance floor, etc.
• Assistance with bartending duties
• Follow all policies, procedures and service standards, including health and safety and food handling procedures
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. 

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous customer service experience is an asset
• Must have Alberta ProServe certification 
• Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items (chairs, tables, etc.), up to 50 lbs 
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Proven teamwork mindset is essential with the ability to communicate effectively at all times
• Strong focus on health & safety with a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment 
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
