Banquet Operation Manager

- Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings
- Conduct departmental daily briefings to ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team members.
- Manage and lead the banquet team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Create and manage budgets for banquet operations, controlling costs while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with Sales and Catering teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring compliance with quality standards and health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain inventory of banquet equipment, linens, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance banquet offering
Knowledge and Experience
- Diploma in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage preferred
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
