Company Description

Novotel & Ibis Auckland Ellerslie is a dual branded hotel home to Acacia Bar & Restaurant and multiple conference spaces. Our hotel has a combined 247 contemporary guest rooms with our staff creating memorable moments for our guests.


Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager and the Conference Sales team to deliver service that achieves a reputation as a market leader
  • Run room set up, service requirements, and technical equipment to the specification of the function event order
  • Contribute to all event and banquet operations, whether a conference, function, meeting, wedding or gala dinner and are executed with perfection ensuring a seamless experience for our guests
  • Create strong connections with the client to ensure a smooth experience

Qualifications

  • Experience in a hotel environment or banquet/event venue with relevant skills in Food & Beverage service delivery
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients and staff
  • Knowledge of how to operate AV equipment for events
  • LCQ and/or Managers Certificate is preferred
