• Creating and developing new recipes for various baked goods, including seasonal items, and ensuring consistency in recipe execution. 
• Preparing a wide range of baked goods, such as cakes, cookies, pies, breads, and other pastries, using both traditional and modern techniques. 
• Monitoring inventory levels of baking ingredients, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients. 
• Ensuring the quality and consistency of all baked goods, including taste, texture, and appearance. 
• Maintaining a clean and organized baking area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations, and ensuring proper hygiene practices. 
• Supervising and training junior baking staff, providing guidance and support in baking techniques and procedures. 
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop and update menus, considering customer preferences and seasonal availability. 
• Ensuring all baking equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly. 
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest food trends, baking techniques, and industry best practices. 
• Ability to create visually appealing desserts and pastries, including decorating cakes and other baked goods. 

• 2-5 years of experience in a pastry chef or baker role, with a strong understanding of baking techniques. 
• Meticulous attention to detail in measurements, mixing, and presentation. 
• A thorough understanding of food safety. 
• Excellent time management skills to manage baking schedules and production timelines. 
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with the kitchen team and supervise staff.
