Job Description
Conveniently located in the Heart of the Sydney - The Sebel Sydney Martin Place is looking for a Part Time - Assistant Night Manager to join our night team. If you function better at night and considered a night shift expert, this is the role for you!
- Support and lead the Night Audit and Front Office operations during overnight shifts.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Complete Night Audit procedures and ensure all daily financial reconciliations are completed accurately.
- Manage guest arrivals, departures, and room allocations.
- Ensure hotel security procedures and emergency response protocols are followed
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, professionalism, and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous Front Office supervisory or leadership experience within a hotel environment.
- Experience using Opera PMS (preferred).
- Strong understanding of Night Audit procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and confidently manage overnight hotel operations.
- Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
