Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Manager for our outlet in Udaipur, India. As an integral part of our food and beverage team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Oversee daily operations of the outlet, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Assist in managing and motivating the team to achieve performance goals and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service and increasing revenue
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste and control costs
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Assist in creating staff schedules and managing labor costs
  • Conduct regular staff training sessions to improve product knowledge and service skills
  • Participate in menu planning and pricing strategies
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports for upper management
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment for staff and customers

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet
  • Prior experience as a supervisor in a similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages and food service operations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, preferably Micros
  • Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
