Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager or Duty Manager to join our dynamic Front Office Team! Liaising with all stakeholders, you will ensure the seamless operation of the resort on a daily basis. As the shift lead at the hotel, you will train and support team members, and set a standard of passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly service for both external and internal guests.

You'll manage inquiries and feedback, and ensure the highest level of guest recovery. Encouraging open communication and efficiency between departments is important, as is fostering a positive work environment by motivating and inspiring team members. You'll also embody and demonstrate Accor's values and promote a culture that prioritizes workplace health and safety.

Additionally, you will assist with revenue optimisation, the preparation of team rosters, and the recruitment, training, and development of the Front Office Team.  If you're passionate about driving operational success and creating memorable guest experiences, we want you on our team!

This role requires availability to work within a rotating roster, including weekends, holidays, and occasional nights.


Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience in a resort or hotel – a strong focus and passion for hotel operations
  • Available to work within a rotating roster, including weekends, holidays and occasional nights
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all types of guests and of team members 
  • Confident and articulate communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change
  • RMLV and First Aid will be required (Can be obtained post-employment if it has not been obtained already)
