With 144 comfortable rooms, stretched across 18 floors, featuring balconies and kitchenette facilities.


Job Description

We’re seeking a passionate, guest-focused Assistant manager (DM) to join our hotel leadership team. In this role, you’ll support the Hotel Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and take charge in the absence of senior management, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment, working alongside a talented and passionate team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills while delivering exceptional service.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Ability to work a full-time rotating roster.
  • Supervising guest arrivals and departures, ensuring that room allocations and check-in/check-out processes are customer-focused and follow set procedures.
  • Running reports and compiling statistical information as required by finance policies and procedures.
  • Compiling reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance, distributing them to specific departments in a timely manner.
  • Completing computer system backups and saving them in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
  • Processing guest account transactions.

Qualifications

You will bring with you:

  • Previous front office experience at supervisory level
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud is advantageous.
  • NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a current and valid work visa/permit.
  • Immaculate personal presentation and high level of communication  - both written and verbal
  • Leadership capability.
