Raffles Jakarta is located in the central business district within Ciputra World 1, a prestigious emerging commercial club comprising a shopping mall, an office tower, Raffles Residences tower and the Ciputra Artpreneur art museum and theatre. Assistant In-Room Dining Manager
The Assistant In-Room Dining Manager oversees and manages all aspects of the in-room dining operations. The Assistant In-Room Dining Manager assists in ensuring the efficient and seamless delivery of exceptional dining experiences to guests in their rooms. This includes coordinating and supervising the in-room dining team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Assistant In-Room Dining Manager plays a crucial role in menu development, staff training, inventory management, and cost control. They work closely with various departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination, and they assist in resolving guest inquiries and concerns.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, hotel management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in food and beverage service, hotel operations, or guest service management is beneficial.
- Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage operations, particularly in in-room dining or banquet service, is highly desirable expected.
- Strong Leadership Skills: The Assistant In-Room Dining Manager should demonstrate strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team, provide clear direction, and effectively delegate responsibilities.
- Exceptional Guest Service Skills: A focus on delivering exceptional guest service. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests, resolve issues, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage Operations: A comprehensive understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, order taking, service delivery, and quality control, is crucial. Familiarity with luxury dining trends and an understanding of the specific requirements of in-room dining service are advantageous.
- Financial Acumen: The Assistant In-Room Dining Manager should possess a basic understanding of financial management, including cost control, budgeting, and revenue management principles. Experience in managing inventory, analyzing financial reports, and implementing cost-saving strategies is beneficial.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are necessary for success in this role. Effective time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: The candidate should be a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with other hotel departments and work harmoniously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving Abilities: The Assistant In-Room Dining Manager should be adaptable to changing circumstances, have a proactive approach to problem-solving, and be able to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations: Understanding and adhering to health and safety regulations, including food handling and hygiene standards, is critical.
