Full rate pay of $24.21 to 27.67

What you will be doing:

Acts as the key contact for the Room Attendants, ensuring information is communicated, procedures are in place, standards are met and challenges are resolved

Inspects VIP arrivals and stayovers, All Accor Members arrivals and follows up on special VIP and FPC requests

Performs routine inspections on Room Attendants, relating to corporate room standards and provides assistance or support to make necessary corrections

Handles general inquiries by Room Attendants regarding guest requests and may provide information concerning daily operation of overall housekeeping department.

Assist the Senior housekeeper with daily duties to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the housekeeping operation

Ensures Fairmont standards are met and exceeded

Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Fluency in English (verbal & written) essential

High school diploma preferred, or equivalent

Housekeeping environment

Proven training skills

Experience with hotel Property Management System, Micros-Fidelio desirable

Proven ability to help motivate change

Must be proactive with a meticulous eye for detail

Strong organizational, supervisory and communication skills

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly

Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately

Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations

Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guest

    Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Frequent standing and walking, Frequent bending and kneeling, Frequent carrying and lifting

    Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
