The Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery is looking for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team. You will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Director of Finance to lead the day to day operations of the Finance department
• Overseeing Accounts Payable, Receivables and Payroll
• Assisting with compiling annual budgets and monthly forecasting
• Ensuring timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Engaging with department managers to develop effective measures to enhance the department’s profitability

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting 
• Highly organised and able to manage priorities in order to meet deadlines
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and coach other departments to the desired outcomes
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
