Following the success of Cibaria Manly, which opened earlier this year, Cibaria Noosa marks the next chapter in Pavoni’s culinary journey - and his first venue outside of Sydney. Positioned on vibrant Hastings Street and set within the surrounds of the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, Cibaria is an elevated yet approachable expression of contemporary Italian dining, that embraces the European way of socialising, all day every day.

Drawing on Italy’s rich culinary heritage and inspired by the vibrant Italian piazza, it offers everything from morning espresso and long coastal lunches to golden-hour aperitivo and relaxed dinners with friends. We’re looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our bar team to excellence. If you’re passionate about cocktails, love the rhythm of a buzzing bar, and thrive in delivering memorable guest experiences, we want you on our journey!

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Bar Manager with daily operations and team leadership.
• Ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of bar service 
• Overseeing beverage service, ensuring speed, quality, and consistency.
• Assisting in menu development - cocktails, wines, and spirits with an Italian flair.
• Managing stock levels, inventory, and supplier relationships.
• Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring bartenders and bar attendants.
• Upholding compliance with RSA and health & safety regulations.
• Delivering warm, professional service that makes every guest feel at home.

• Australian working rights and current QLD RSA certificate.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in bars and restaurants, with some supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and Italian-style aperitivo culture.
• Solid understanding of stock control, COGS, and bar operations.
• Polite personal manner, positivity, and a team-first mindset.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with premium/luxury hospitality environments.
• Creativity in crafting signature cocktails that showcase seasonal flavours.
• Familiarity with Italian hospitality traditions.
