Job Description

  • Prepare the annual Aqua Park budget and ensure revenue and operational costs remain aligned throughout the year.
  • Monitor daily attendance levels and control maximum capacity to ensure safety and guest comfort.
  • Ensure all employees are properly trained in water safety, emergency procedures, guest service, and upselling techniques.
  • Coordinate lifeguard rotations and supervision schedules to guarantee all attractions are continuously monitored.
  • Engage qualified lifeguards, slide attendants, and technical staff, ensuring valid certifications and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain all Aqua Park areas in a spotless and hygienic condition, including pools, decks, locker rooms, and shower facilities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety, water hygiene standards, and all applicable legal regulations, implementing new legislation as required.
  • Supervise any Food & Beverage outlets within the Aqua Park area and coordinate efficiently with the F&B Department.
  • Ensure all departmental reports, incident logs, water testing records, and correspondence are completed accurately and on time.
  • Implement proper procedures for employee recruitment, training, development, evaluation, and termination.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in water attractions, safety standards, and Aqua Park equipment, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Organize Aqua Park activities, themed events, and guest entertainment programs incorporating feedback and operational needs.
  • Oversee security procedures, ensuring proper guest registration and controlled access to the facility.
  • Report equipment failures or operational issues promptly to the Maintenance Department and follow up as necessary.
  • Participate in training and development programs as recommended by senior management.
  • Assist the Duty Manager with operational tasks as required.
  • Comply with all reasonable requests made by management.
  • Promote environmental awareness by minimizing resource consumption and supporting sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure proper waste management to reduce environmental impact and lead staff by example.
  • Ensure chemicals are handled, transported, stored, and used safely in accordance with legal and safety requirements.
  • Carry out responsibilities related to quality management and safety management systems implemented at the facility.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by hotel management not specified in this job description.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor`s degree
  • Experience: At least 6 years of related work experience
  • Foreign Language: Sufficient level of English and Arabic to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
  • Courses and Training: Professional trainings and seminars and professional certification..
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office applications.
  • Skills: Expected to use basic tools and equipment related to the job. Expected to perform simple, specific and standard tasks that are generally repetitive.
