Job Description
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager - Outlet to join our team in Mysuru, India. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the daily operations of our outlet while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. You'll be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining operational excellence. - Oversee and manage all daily outlet operations, ensuring strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and established standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop outlet staff to build a high-performance culture, support career growth, and conduct regular performance reviews
- Drive sales performance and revenue targets through strategic planning, team motivation, and implementation of effective promotional campaigns
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, outlet cleanliness, safety standards, and visual merchandising to maintain a premium customer environment
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met and handle customer complaints with professionalism, empathy, and transparency
- Prepare and submit regular reports on outlet performance, sales trends, operational challenges, and strategic recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives, strategic objectives, and organizational goals
- Handle cash management, reconciliation, and financial accuracy while maintaining compliance with financial protocols
- Maintain and optimize point-of-sale (POS) systems and leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills with demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and inspire staff to achieve excellence
- Proven sales acumen and track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets in a retail environment
- Excellent customer service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Proficiency in analyzing data, interpreting performance metrics, and translating insights into actionable strategies
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills with a collaborative approach to conflict resolution
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, merchandising best practices, and visual merchandising standards
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software
- Cash handling expertise with strong attention to financial accuracy and reconciliation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by business needs
- Adaptability and resilience in managing dynamic retail environments and responding to changing priorities
- Knowledge of local languages (Hindi/Kannada) is a plus and would be beneficial for the Mysuru location
