Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

As the Airport Ambassador for Fairmont Udaipur Palace, you will be responsible for providing a seamless and welcoming arrival experience for guests arriving at the airport. You will ensure that guests receive personalized assistance and transportation arrangements are handled efficiently, reflecting the luxury and high standards of Fairmont Udaipur Palace.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Arrival Coordination:

    • Meet and greet arriving guests at the airport with a warm and professional demeanor.
    • Assist guests with luggage handling and escort them to transportation arrangements.

Transportation Arrangements:

    • Coordinate and arrange transportation services such as airport transfers, taxis, or private car services for guests.
    • Ensure accurate and timely communication with drivers and guests regarding pick-up times and locations.

Guest Assistance:

    • Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and amenities to guests during transportation.
    • Address any immediate guest inquiries or requests with efficiency and courtesy.

Communication and Collaboration:

    • Maintain effective communication with the Front Office, Concierge, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
    • Liaise with airline representatives, ground transportation providers, and airport authorities as needed.

Safety and Security:

    • Ensure the safety and security of guests during transportation and while at the airport.
    • Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain a secure environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a guest service or airport ambassador role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and airport procedures.
