Job Description

We’re seeking an energetic and inspiring Activities Manager to lead our Activities team and create memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the delivery of our resort activity program, including VIK Club experiences, beach activities, games, water-based activities and guest experiences. You’ll bring creativity, organisation and a strong focus on safety while supporting your team to deliver fun, engaging and seamless experiences every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, coach and support the Activities team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Develop and coordinate engaging activities including VIK Club programs, beach games, crafts, trivia and resort experiences
  • Create memorable experiences for children, families, groups and conference guests
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to coordinate Tipi builds and support unique event experiences for guests and clients
  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling, equipment, safety and presentation standards
  • Maintain a strong focus on guest safety, risk management and WHS compliance
  • Work closely with other departments to support events, group experiences and seasonal activities
  • Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve the activity offering
  • Build a positive team culture focused on energy, creativity and genuine hospitality

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven leadership experience in hospitality, resorts, recreation, childcare, education or a similar guest-focused environment
  • Experience creating or delivering activities for children and families highly regarded
  • A natural ability to engage with people and create memorable experiences
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for outdoor and active environments
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and guest wellbeing
  • Current Working with Children Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays and varied hours as required
