Accounts Payable Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our finance team in İstanbul, Türkiye. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and leading a team of accounts payable specialists.

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounts payable department
• Review and approve payment vouchers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance and support
• Analyze supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Prepare and review payment runs, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and verified
• Monitor check issuance and maintain proper safeguards for unused checks
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounts payable processes
• Generate and analyze accounts payable reports for management review
• Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
• Proficiency in accounting software.
