Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Support and supporting the Assistant Director of Finance in leading the Accounting/Finance department - you are a leader who enjoys building relationships with clients and your team. You are a numbers person who thrives in an environment that involves systems, people, and financials.  You enjoy developing others and working closely with many departments - and it just so happens you’ll be doing just that in an award-winning hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly hotel reporting
  • Ensure hotel/company billing/credit procedures are in place
  • Complete and reconcile monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review by Director of Finance, all back up and reconciling items to be submitted
  • Additionally, the Accounting Manager must be able to assist in other areas of the accounting office as requested

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Previous leadership experience in an accounting role required
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or related field.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft software
  • Opera experience is preferred
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
