Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing and supervising all daily accounting operations within the hotel. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, the timely preparation of monthly financial reports, and compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures. The Accountant assists the Financial Manager in ensuring that financial results are accurate, transparent, and aligned with the
hotel’s financial objectives.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Capable of preparing financial forecasts to support management decision-making.
  • Proficient in accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Able to prepare and analyze complete financial statements such as the Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity
  • Has a good understanding of hotel internal audit procedures and financial control systems, including cash, receivables, payables, and cost management
  • Strong proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Good computer skills (especially Excel and power point) and accounting systems.
