We’re looking for a plate balancing, service loving Waiter at The Hoxton, Edinburgh to keep the food, drinks and good vibe flowing.
Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping run the day-to-day F&B operations and deliver a friendly service.
We’ve opened our doors in Edinburgh’s charming West End - our very first Hox in Scotland. Set across 11 beautiful Georgian townhouses, we’re home to 214 bedrooms, a lively open lobby and bar, an all-day Italian trattoria Patatino, a retro-inspired cinema, a flexible and super-size event space called The Get Together, and The Apartment – our unique signature spot for meetings, private dinners and memorable gatherings.
Patatino is our all-day Italian trattoria serving fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and all the spritzes and Italian wines you could wish for. Inspired by the glam and romance of the sun-soaked Amalfi coast, it’s a spot for long, joyful meals with friends, where old-school charm meets modern design, with bold colours, cosy corners, and plenty of personality.

What you’ll do…
- Simply put - you’re the face of our guests’ experience and you bring your own flavour to the(ir) table, making sure that from the moment they arrive to when they leave, they’re having a great time.
- Work with the F&B team in keeping things running smoothly.
- Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
- Provide a genuinely welcoming and memorable experience for our guests, from a Hox welcome, to handling any questions and helping out with requests.
- Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests’ expectations are not only met but exceeded.
