We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Supervisor to join our hospitality team in Cairo, Egypt. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all spa operations, manage our talented team of therapists, and ensure exceptional guest experiences that align with our luxury brand standards. As Spa Supervisor, you will combine your passion for wellness with strong operational expertise, driving both guest satisfaction and revenue goals while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence.

• Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring all standard operating procedures and policies are consistently followed by team members and that the facility maintains peak condition at all times
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the spa therapy team, providing constructive feedback, performance reviews, and professional development opportunities to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Manage inventory of spa products, supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and maintaining accurate records for operational efficiency
• Monitor and drive retail and treatment revenue goals, implementing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality
• Ensure all spa treatments are performed safely, professionally, and hygienically, conducting quality assurance checks and addressing any concerns with care and urgency
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to relevant departments, ensuring seamless coordination and personalized service delivery
• Greet and interact with guests and members in a warm, professional manner, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining positive relationships at all times
• Maintain comprehensive guest databases and records, tracking preferences and facilitating ongoing communication to encourage rebooking and loyalty
• Conduct facility tours for prospective spa guests and actively promote all hotel and spa packages, treatments, and seasonal promotions
• Recognize and extend special attention to VIP arrivals, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations
• Coordinate spa treatments with other spa programs and hotel departments, fostering strong internal relationships and operational synergy
• Maintain ambiance standards including lighting, music, and cleanliness across all spa areas, creating a serene and welcoming environment
• Report maintenance requirements, security concerns, and equipment malfunctions promptly to hotel management
• Attend departmental meetings and training sessions, staying current with industry trends and brand standards
• Demonstrate commitment to safety protocols and lead by example, ensuring all team members adhere to health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing spa values and organizational culture to colleagues, guests, and external stakeholders
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall hotel operations

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in spa operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Government-approved spa therapy certification and current professional licensure
• First Aid certification and CPR - Basic Rescuer certification
• Thorough knowledge of spa and fitness department standard operating procedures and policies
• Extensive knowledge of the hospitality sector, particularly the upper luxury segment
• Demonstrated understanding of brand values, luxury service standards (LQA, Forbes, Accor), and quality assurance protocols
• Strong proficiency in English (oral and written)
• Proven ability to manage staff, provide training, and develop team members
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, members, and colleagues
• Proficiency in inventory management, financial tracking, and revenue optimization
• Knowledge of guest relationship management systems and spa software programs
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by spa operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• University degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
• Additional certifications in spa management or wellness industry specializations
• Experience with multiple spa treatment modalities and techniques
• Proficiency in additional languages beyond English
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and improving guest satisfaction scores
• Experience with quality assurance audits and compliance monitoring
• Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Industry network and connections within the wellness and hospitality sector

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
