Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Executive to join at ibis Hyderabad HITEC City, India. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our reservation operations, managing bookings, coordinating group inventory, and ensuring seamless guest experiences. You'll work collaboratively with sales, revenue management, and other departments to maintain accurate reservation data and deliver exceptional service recovery.   • Manage and coordinate all aspects of reservation and group inventory management using our Property Management System (PMS), ensuring accuracy and timeliness in data entry
  • Process new, revised, and canceled reservations and group room blocks with meticulous attention to detail
  • Conduct daily inventory reviews and monitoring of group pick-up reports to track cut-off dates, availability, and booking trends
  • Perform regular inventory controls to release rooms, extend cut-offs, and adjust availability based on sales contracts, group meetings, and revenue management directives
  • Communicate proactively with sales and revenue management teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment in reservation and inventory management
  • Analyze reservation data and generate reports to support decision-making and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Provide professional and empathetic service recovery for reservation-related guest complaints and concerns
  • Maintain transparent communication with guests and internal departments, providing timely feedback and updates
  • Organize and prioritize multiple reservation requests simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy standards
  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members on reservation procedures and PMS systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve booking conflicts and ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications

**Required Skills & Competencies:**

  • Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and reservation software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Advanced data entry skills with a commitment to accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret reports and identify trends
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service excellence and empathetic communication
  • Interpersonal skills and collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

**Required Experience:**

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in reservation management, hospitality, or related customer service roles
  • Proven experience with group booking coordination and inventory management
  • Demonstrated experience in handling guest complaints and service recovery

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Hospitality industry certification or training
  • Experience with multiple PMS platforms
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles
  • Experience in a hotel, resort, or travel industry environment
  • Familiarity with group sales processes and conventions

**Education:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field is preferred
