Pumphouse, a venue rich in industrial history and situated in Sydney’s vibrant Darling Harbour and Darling Square precinct, is looking for a Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage for a Pumphouse Venue Events Sales Executive.


Job Description

You will play a key role in driving business growth for Pumphouse events by identifying new opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients. Your focus will be on generating revenue through strategic sales efforts and expanding our client base.

  • Secure and manage private event bookings for Pumphouse Sydney.
  • Quoting and contracting for event proposals for Pumphouse’s services with a focus on proactive sales for new clients.
  • Proactively tele market calls as per set target for the week.
  • Work closely with the operational team to drive sales at all opportunities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated sales experience in a hotel or venue environment.

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within venues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A natural leader with a passion for seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Enthusiastic about building relationships and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Focused, Motivated and self-driven team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
