We are seeking a driven, competitive National Sales Manager to lead our small group segment (10–74 peak rooms). This is not a maintenance role. It is a revenue-driving, fast-paced, lead-intensive position designed for someone who thrives to convert consistently.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this role.
- The emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups requires an outgoing, poised and persuasive communication style.
- Because the pace of the work is faster than average, the ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting to changing conditions is critical.
- While the job requires the ability to act independently, a sense of urgency and the confidence to handle a variety of challenges, a full commitment to the success of the business and high standards of achievement are expected in this position.
- The emphasis is on results, and effective systems that achieve results through and with people, rather than on the details of implementation.
- Other duties as assigned.
This is not a passive sales role. It is for someone who enjoys competition, urgency, and measurable results.
- 2–3+ years of hotel or resort sales management experience
- Based in Arizona and excited to work on property within the resort’s Sales Department (this is not a remote position)
- Energized by high activity and lead conversion
- Confident presenting within a luxury environment
- Competitive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
- Extroverted, enthusiastic, persuasive influencer
- Skilled at building rapport quickly and turning inquiry into commitment
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Professional presence aligned with a luxury hospitality brand
