Job Description

Do you enjoy creating seamless and memorable experiences for guests at events and conferences? We are looking for motivated and professional casual Meetings & Events Attendants to join our Food and Beverage team at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery. If you thrive in a fast paced environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, this role is for you.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver attentive and professional service that reflects our five star standard
  • Assist with setup, breakdown and presentation of event and conference spaces
  • Serve food and beverages to guests with care, efficiency and attention to detail
  • Support the catering and bar teams to ensure events run smoothly
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to requests and enhancing the overall event experience
  • Work as part of a team to coordinate logistics, timing and flow of service
  • Ensure all event areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Be empowered to go above and beyond to surprise and delight guests with thoughtful gestures and personalised service

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • A current RSA Certificate
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
  • Availability to work casual shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with guests
  • A team player who thrives in a fast paced and collaborative environment
  • Great attention to detail and pride in high standards of presentation and service
  • Reliability and consistency so that guests enjoy the same high quality experience at every event
