Kitchen Attendant (casual)

The position is responsible for assisting the kitchen team in ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and to ensure that all F&B outlets are provided with clean and sanitised operating equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Actioning cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas and storeroom;
• General pantry duties and maintaining cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers;
• Assisting in the preparation of food as directed by the Executive Chef or supervisory team;
• Maintaining cleanliness and rotation of stock in pantry, fridge and freezers;
• Assisting with the receiving and storing of stock;
• Ensuring all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations;
• Ensuring each outlet is supplied with sanitized clean and dry operational equipment.

• Service Oriented with an eye for detail;
• Chemical Handling experience and an understanding of safe work practices preferred;
• Self-Motivated and energetic;
• Ability to work independently;
• Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
