Job Description
The Handyman supports the Engineering departmet to promote guest satisfaction by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are well maintained.
- Addressing minor issues like fixing leaky faucets, repairing furniture, and patching drywall.
- Conducting regular checks and maintenance of equipment, fixtures, and building systems to prevent potential problems.
- Handling plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
- Addressing minor electrical issues like replacing light bulbs or switches.
- Performing painting and touch-up work to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the hotel.
- Handling basic carpentry tasks, like repairing or replacing wooden fixtures.
- Addressing guest requests for maintenance and repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols while performing maintenance tasks.
