The General Manager of an MGallery Hotel plays a key role in shaping the guest experience, team culture, and long-term success of the property. Close collaboration with ownership ensures transparency and strategic alignment. Above all, the GM acts as a visible, approachable host delivering authentic hospitality that creates lasting memories. The role requires driving overall strategy and performance in line with Accor brand standards and M Gallery’s “Memorable Moments” philosophy, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture while offering refined, locally inspired luxury experiences.
As General Manager of Minaro Hotel Tokaj, you will:
- Lead all hotel operations to deliver exceptional service, unforgettable guest experiences, and consistent MGallery brand standards.
- Set the strategic direction of the hotel and ensure delivery of KPIs across guest satisfaction, financial results, quality, and performance.
- Drive commercial success by overseeing sales and marketing, revenue management, food & beverage, leisure facilities, and overall profitability.
- Foster a motivated, high-performing team through clear leadership, coaching, development, and an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
- Safeguard and optimise hotel assets, ensuring high operational integrity, maintenance standards, and long-term value for ownership.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders—including owners, Accor, employees, suppliers, guests, and the local community—to support sustainable success.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement by integrating feedback, encouraging new ideas, and leading initiatives that enhance service quality and sustainability.
- Proven track record as a General Manager or senior hotel leader within a luxury or premium property.
- Strong operational expertise across rooms, food & beverage, wellness, and guest experience, with the ability to elevate service quality and brand standards.
- Solid commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and long-term asset value optimisation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing diverse teams, driving engagement, and developing talent in a dynamic hospitality environment.
- Clear capability in building strong owner relations and collaborating effectively with management companies and key stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; additional languages—especially Hungarian—are an advantage.
- Charismatic, approachable, and guest-focused, with the ability to create meaningful connections and inspire a culture of genuine hospitality.
- Passionate about local culture, storytelling, and crafting authentic experiences that reflect the spirit of Tokaj and the MGallery brand.
