Job Description

ibis Tbilisi City is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our hotel operations in the heart of Tbilisi, Georgia. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's performance, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize hotel revenue and profitability
  • Lead and inspire a team of department heads and staff to deliver outstanding service
  • Oversee daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control measures
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and health and safety guidelines
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to implement effective pricing and marketing strategies
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive occupancy and revenue growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel management, with previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a mid-scale hotel
  • Proven track record of successful hotel operations and financial management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and revenue optimization techniques
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting processes
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and current market trends
  • Familiarity with the Georgian tourism market is preferred
  • Hotel management certifications are a plus
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Georgian;
