As a Part-time Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will surpass your own expectations as well as those of our guests. Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise the multi outlet operations of Food & Beverage department, including our Restaurant & Bar, Conference, Club lounge, Minibar and In-Room Dining
- Lead, train, and motivate Food & Beverage ambassadors to ensure exceptional 5 star luxury service standards
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by acting proactively, and promptly addressing any concerns or special requests
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are delivered according to hotel standards
- Monitor inventory levels, assist in placing orders and stock control
- Promote campaigns and events to drive revenue and increase capture
- Conduct analysis of departmental training needs, prepare and deliver training to both groups and individuals
- Host team briefings and meetings to communicate department performance feedback and strategies
This role is Part-Time (16 hours minimum per week) - Must hold full NZ working rights.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in Food & Beverage with proven experience leading a team (preferred)
- Emotional intelligence and a demonstrated understanding of luxury
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to positively influence others
- Demonstrated leadership and team working skills, and able to manage schedules
- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, and resolve guest feedback
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations food handling best practices
- Understanding of food and beverage operations, inventory and ordering
- A passion for Food & Beverage with the drive to excel your career
- Barista experience (preferred)
