Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at ibis Styles Mysuru, India. As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance food and beverage offerings, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability
  • Manage and mentor a team of food and beverage professionals, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment
  • Oversee menu planning, pricing, and development in collaboration with the culinary team
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost-control measures
  • Manage inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize supply chain processes
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with other departments to organize and execute special events and promotions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to improve guest experience
  • Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance service quality and product knowledge
  • Prepare and analyze reports on revenue, labor costs, and other key performance indicators

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; certification from a reputable Hospitality Management school preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 3 years at a senior management level
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-volume food and beverage operations
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills
  • Outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu engineering, and inventory management
  • Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
  • Ability to multi-task and make decisive decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service orientation with a keen eye for detail
  • Familiarity with local cuisine and cultural preferences in Mysuru and surrounding regions
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Professional appearance and grooming standards
