We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our executive leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring the company's fiscal health and compliance.
- Oversee daily operations of the Finance department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term financial strategies aligned with company goals
- Direct and coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Analyze monthly operating results against budgets and provide insightful recommendations
- Lead cost efficiency initiatives and optimize financial performance
- Manage relationships with external financial partners, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, with particular attention to UAE standards
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to the executive team and board of directors
- Oversee cash flow management and investment strategies
- Direct financial audits and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain a high-performing finance team through effective leadership, mentoring, and professional development
- Collaborate with other department heads to drive business growth and profitability
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 3 years in a similar director-level capacity
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards, including familiarity with UAE financial landscape
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial management software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of key performance indicators
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Visionary mindset with the ability to drive innovation in financial processes and systems
