Leydi is part of Hyde London City, marking the rebirth of a London icon. This lavish seven-storey, 111-room property at 15 Old Bailey draws upon a rich and storied past to create a luxurious, bespoke hideaway in the heart of the city. Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a Barista to brew up some excitement as part of team. Your love for crafting the perfect cup and delivering exceptional service sets the stage for an unforgettable experience at our brand-new takeaway hatch.
What you’ll do…
- Brew up a variety of drinks, from classic coffee to specialty creations, with precision and style that hits all the right notes for our brand.
- Keep the hatch spotless and well-organised, ensuring everything is ready to mix up magic and serve the queue at a moment’s notice.
- Welcome guests to the window, take orders like a pro, and charm them with your recommendations to make their day unforgettable.
- Stay in tune with our menu, master your ingredients and pricing, and stay groovy with the latest coffee trends.
- Work with the rest of team in keeping things running smoothly and tidily, whether you’re smashing a morning rush at the hatch or covering the bar inside the restaurant when needed.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for…
- Previous barista experience, latte art is a plus!
- A natural people person – you’re confident behind the bar and brilliant with guests.
- You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here.
- Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues.
- You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done.
- You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
