- Responsible for the recommendation and sales of wines and other beverages items to guests.
- Maintain and update wine and all other beverage lists.
- Ensure wines of critical age get sold.
- Establish a Sommelier recommendation.
- Check pricing is up to date.
- Maintain standards as would be expected in a Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Train the bar employees about wine and international cocktail items.
- Make sure all service staff know which wines / cocktails to recommend for each dish on the menu.
- Carry out monthly stock control and inventory.
- Update continuously all stock forms.
- Be in charge of purchasing the wines, alcoholic, and all bar items and creating the wine lists as needed.
- Deliveries are stored immediately and updated on the wine, alcoholic items and inventory list.
- Liaise on a regular basis about new releases and feedback from guests.
- Suggest wine-related items and international cocktail items that could be sold in the hotel bars, outlets, and restaurants.
- Administer staff involved in activities related to the Accounting Department (i.e., F&B cashiers, etc.) to ensure that work and vacation schedules are compatible with in-house guest activity.
- To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment.
- To join all activities that are organized to protect biological diversity and share the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order to increase environmental knowledge and to carry on necessary training.
- To provide minimum consumption currently used all stuff and equipment (paper, printed out, etc).
- To implement necessary departmental training in order to save energy inside the facility.
- To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for saving energy.
- To predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchased equipment.
- To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste in a proper way and reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment.
- Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management and food safety management systems implemented at the facility.
- Carry out all other duties assigned by F&B management and hotel management.
- At least a high school or vocational diploma.
- At least 4 years of related work experience following theoretical education.
- Sufficient level of English, communicate effectively with guests, in addition to at least one other European language.
- Advanced level of theoretical and practical knowledge.
- Computer Literacy.
- Have good communication with guests and have the ability to control his staff and handle guest complaints.
