Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and creative Tailor to join the Guest Experience and Operations team at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq, supporting the delivery of high-quality, personalized garment alterations and wardrobe care for guests and staff in a remote luxury desert environment.
Reporting to the Housekeeping or Operations Manager, the Tailor is responsible for ensuring all clothing, uniforms, and guest garments are altered, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards of quality, precision, and craftsmanship. This role plays an important part in enhancing guest comfort, presentation, and overall experience by delivering timely and flawless tailoring services.
The Tailor will work closely with various departments to ensure uniforms fit perfectly and reflect the brand’s aesthetic standards, while also providing discreet, efficient, and guest-focused tailoring services. This position contributes to the refined, thoughtful, and detail-driven environment that defines the Our Habitas experience.
This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical sewing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a remote luxury hospitality setting where quality, creativity, and service excellence are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tailoring, alterations, repairs, and adjustments for guest clothing, staff uniforms, and resort garments to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
- Ensure all items are finished with precision, care, and attention to detail in line with luxury brand expectations.
- Take accurate measurements and provide fitting consultations for guests and team members when required.
- Maintain and repair uniforms to ensure a consistent, polished, and professional appearance across all departments.
- Manage tailoring requests efficiently, ensuring timely turnaround and high-quality delivery.
- Communicate clearly with guests and colleagues regarding garment requirements, fittings, and completion timelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped tailoring workspace.
- Monitor and manage sewing materials, tools, and supplies, reporting needs for replenishment as required.
- Ensure confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism when handling guest garments.
- Support special requests for events, celebrations, or personalized guest experiences.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and Operations teams to ensure uniform standards are consistently upheld.
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational standards within the tailoring area.
- Contribute to a culture of craftsmanship, care, and excellence within the resort environment.
Who You Are

You are patient, reliable, and discreet, with a strong sense of responsibility and service excellence. You thrive in a boutique, remote luxury environment and enjoy contributing to a refined and thoughtful hospitality experience.
You are not just a tailor—you are a craftsperson who enhances comfort, confidence, and presentation for guests and colleagues at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq.
