Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Steward Supervisor to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Steward Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas while leading a team of stewards.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the stewarding team to ensure efficient operations
  • Oversee the cleaning and sanitization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
  • Implement and maintain cleaning schedules to meet hygiene standards
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Train and mentor stewards on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to support smooth service operations
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization standards
  • Address and resolve any cleanliness or sanitation issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and inventory

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Steward Supervisor or in a similar leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety regulations
  • Strong understanding of kitchen equipment and cleaning procedures
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
