Job Description

1.1.1    Maintains high standards of staff service and assist in training employees.
1.1.2    To administrative duties including ordering, interviews, production worksheets and sales and cost analysis.. 
1.1.3    To have a complete knowledge of the products and services provided in the cafeteria.
1.1.4    Responsible for all opening and closing duties related to cash handling. Duties include counting/recounting of all cash at end of day, insuring all drawers are within over/short parameters and submitting a completed report on all cash handling through the use of school lunch software.
1.1.5    Responsible for food preparation for staffs as assigned by manager.
1.1.6    Practices procedures in food preparation staff service, use and care of equipment and all cleanup including washing of dishes.
1.1.7    Conducts all activities in a positive and professional manner.
1.1.8    Follows standards of safety in preparing, storing, and serving food. Apply Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.
1.1.9    Maintains required forms and records as assigned by the manager 
1.1.10    Attends job-related training classes and workshops. Managing staff's work schedules
1.1.11    Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations
1.1.12    Checking in on dining staffs to enquire about food quality and service.
1.1.13    Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other essentials are adequately stocked. 
1.1.14     Ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
1.1.15    Undertake accurate and timely stock taking, reconciliation of money and invoices Completion of company documents
1.1.16    Ensure all food and health and safety regulations are followed
1.1.17    Oversee staff reporting into you
1.1.18    Manage workloads of yourself and staff
1.1.19    Prepare staff duty roasters
1.1.20    Develop and maintain a strong working environment with the other departments

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in the same position or similar position.
