Job Description

The Spa Therapist, under the guidance of the Spa Manager, will maintain the standards of spa etiquette and service in all interactions with guests and staff. They are responsible for providing all guests with personalized attention that meets and exceeds their needs. The therapist must be comfortable anticipating guests' needs, addressing any concerns, and managing the extra details required to go above and beyond guests’ expectations.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Practice universal health care protocols when dealing with guests and co-workers.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order and functioning properly.
  • Demonstrate dependability and a willingness to work with schedule flexibility.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the treatment room at all times.
  • Follow a "clean as you go" approach in the work areas.
  • Observe all departmental safety procedures and protocols.
  • Handle emergency situations with urgency and discretion.
  • Provide the range of services within the position's scope of responsibility, adhering to the standards set by the Spa.
  • Provide guests with a thorough and knowledgeable range of spa services, using professional draping techniques.
  • Perform skincare treatments using the cosmetics provided by the Spa.
  • Address and respond to all guest concerns, comments, or complaints with discretion and urgency.
  • Inform all incoming guests about treatment procedures, special instructions, and billing information.
  • Inquire about the guest's experience and their level of satisfaction with the service.
  • Communicate guest requests and preferences to relevant departments and co-workers.
  • Show respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests' needs in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times, including with in-house guests, day guests, and telephone inquiries.
