Job Description
- Maintain thorough knowledge of products for each treatment/therapy
- Creates plan that assists guests with Yoga programs
- Able to promote and sell all programs (classes, activities, retail sales & services) to groups, individuals, walk-in guests etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and report any deficiencies of any spa equipment
- Ensure the guest experience is relaxing and in accordance with the resort standards.
- Ensure that equipment & facilities are in peak sanitary condition at all times
- Deliver and collect linen inventory to and from Housekeeping on a scheduled basis
- Ensure that inventory of all spa amenities and toiletries are well stocked at all times
- Prepare products and treatment rooms according to specified guidelines and bookings
- Direct guests to appointments and attend to their needs in every way possible
- Assist guests with use of facilities such as sauna, steam, whirlpool etc.
- Maintain locker rooms in a tidy manner. Check and clean lockers when needed
- Maintain accurate records as required by hotel and government regulations
- Understand and adhere to departmental emergency procedures and safety practices
- Handle guests’ complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently. Report incidents or other irregularities to Spa Manager
- Assist in the operation of the spa department as required
- Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel services/features
Qualifications
- Certification in massage therapy, aesthetics or diploma from a recognized school of alternative therapy
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a spa or hospitality industry
- Good oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages can be advantageous
