We are looking for a Spa Manager to join the Mondrian team. 


Job Description

As the Spa Manager at Mondrian Gold Coast, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Ciel Spa department, ensuring that guests receive exceptional, personalized service in line with our luxury brand standards. You will lead and manage a team of talented professionals, driving service excellence and achieving departmental goals while fostering a culture of guest satisfaction. Your main duties will include:

  • Lead and oversee the spa team to deliver outstanding and personalised guest services, ensuring all guests receive a warm and courteous welcome.   
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the spa desk, ensuring all tasks and guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.   
  • Provide services such as massage, facial and body treatments to guests including exclusive VIP guests.    
  • Maintaining Hair and Beauty award regulations and distribute team roster   
  • Develop training programs and materials to continuously enhance the skills and knowledge of the spa team.   
  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, motivating and coaching talents in the spa team.  
  • Manage department budgets and keep accurate records of invoices and monthly expenditure, reporting any discrepancies or concerns to your manager. 
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism, seeking timely resolutions and ensuring guest satisfaction.  

Qualifications

  • Proven success as a Spa Manager or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or resort. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams. 
  • Fluency in English; additional languages highly regarded. 
  • Proficiency in spa management software, particularly Book4Time (preferred). 
  • Genuine passion for spa and wellness, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest service. 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. 
  • Experience with luxury or lifestyle brands, demonstrating an understanding of elevated standards.  
  • Must hold a Diploma of Beauty Therapy or a similar qualification. 
  • A valid First Aid Certificate or the ability to obtain one. 
  • Full Australian Working Rights are essential.
