The property also offers F&B outlets, meeting rooms, a ballroom, and a recreational facility that includes a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, a steam room, a sauna, and whirlpools.

Job Description

The Spa Manager will be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Develop budgets and short to long-range strategic planning for the operation of the spa.
  • Establish and implement the spa's standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Manage and oversee spa operations to ensure successful achievement of overall business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient spa operations.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on all aspects of spa promotions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, promotions, and sales techniques.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff to uphold high standards of customer service and treatment quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as industry best practices for spa operations.
  • Manage client relationships, address concerns, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to continuously improve spa offerings and services.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Spa Manager position will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity within a luxury hospitality setting is required.
  • Certification in massage therapy or aesthetics from a recognised institution is essential.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills are crucial.
  • Proven ability to maintain efficiency and productivity in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Established track record of managing budgets and financial planning for spa operations.
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to address client concerns with tact and professionalism.
  • Comprehensive understanding of spa treatments, products, and industry trends.
  • Extensive experience in inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing strategies for spa services promotion.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to spa operations.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Genuine passion for wellness and dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences.

The successful candidate will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and contribute significantly to the spa's success and reputation.
