Job Description
Fairmont Banff Springs is at the forefront of the spa industry, offering first-class pampering surrounded by majestic mountain beauty. Starting Rate: $19.95 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.17
We are looking for both Full Time Permanent (Starting April) and Seasonal (May-October).
Job Duties Include:
- Responsible for maintaining the Fairmont Spa premises; clean, replenish stock of all spa amenities, toiletries and linens and answer any guest inquiries
- Maintain female locker rooms in a tidy manner, check and clean lockers when needed
- Direct members/guests to appointments and assist them with use of sauna, steam whirlpool etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience an asset
- Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Have excellent interpersonal/communication skills, are polite and friendly
- Are dedicated to a high level of customer service and attention to detail
- Must be able to lift, carry and pull over 30+ lbs and able to constantly stand and walk throughout shift. Motions include: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing up and down the stairs.
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
