Job Description

Job Summery:

At SLS Red Sea, the Beach Attendant is an essential player in shaping a relaxed yet refined seaside experience. You are responsible for the setup, upkeep, and guest service delivery at the resort’s private beach. With attention to detail, enthusiasm, and a stylish sense of service, you ensure that the beachfront is not only visually pristine but also functionally flawless offering seamless comfort and vibrant energy to every guest’s day by the sea.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare all beach areas ahead of guest arrival, ensuring sun loungers, umbrellas, side tables, towels, and amenities are perfectly arranged to reflect the elevated SLS aesthetic.
  • Prepare and arrange all poolside furniture; sunbeds, umbrellas, towels, and amenities prior to guest arrival to meet SLS presentation standards.
  • Maintain a visually appealing, hazard-free, and organized pool deck at all times, including walkways, showers, wet zones, and relaxation areas.
  • Ensure the prompt resetting of pool areas after guest departures, and a flawless closing setup at the end of each shift.
  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the pool, offering towels and assistance with lounger arrangements.
  • Maintain a consistently clean, safe, and organized beach environment throughout the day, including raking sand, clearing debris, and checking for trip or slip hazards.
  • Reset the beach area during turnover periods and at closing, ensuring all items are stored properly, and the environment is left in impeccable condition for the next day.
  • Greet each guest with genuine warmth, escort them to a beach lounger if needed, and offer a brief overview of available amenities and services.
  • Provide chilled towels, water, and other refreshments, proactively checking in with guests to anticipate and exceed their expectations.
  • Assist guests with towel service, personal belongings, and beachside adjustments such as repositioning umbrellas or sunbeds.
  • Offer clear and courteous guidance on beach etiquette, swimming zones, and wellness or recreational activities linked to the beach.
  • Coordinate with Lifeguards, Spa, and Wellness teams to ensure a seamless guest experience and synchronized service delivery.
  • Monitor beach supply levels (towels, amenities, drinking water, etc.) and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Report maintenance needs or cleanliness concerns promptly to the relevant teams to guarantee a consistently high standard of beach operation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a beach, pool, or outdoor recreation role within a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Previous guest-facing or outdoor service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a pride in presentation and cleanliness.
  • Energetic, reliable, and service-driven with the ability to remain professional in outdoor conditions.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a beach environment for extended periods.
  • Friendly and proactive communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support dynamic operations.

Additional Information

Physical Abilities: 

  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push/pull up to 25kg
  • Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; reach overhead or below the knees; bend, twist, stoop
  • Visual, auditory, and verbal acuity essential for a vibrant, high-touch hospitality environment
