Company Description

Join the Engineering team at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, a large-scale hospitality and events precinct where technical expertise is essential to daily operations.

The property spans extensive landscaped grounds and includes 370+ guest rooms, multiple food and beverage outlets, a resort pool, an activity lagoon, and comprehensive back-of-house facilities. The adjoining Sunshine Coast Convention Centre accommodates up to 1,500 delegates and supports major national and international conferences, exhibitions, and live events, requiring a high standard of preventative and reactive maintenance across diverse building systems.

As part of the Accor Group, you will work within established engineering standards, compliance frameworks, and safety systems, alongside a skilled and collaborative team. • Relevant certifications (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
  • Must have full Australian working rights

**This role is paid under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 with Monday-Friday pay rate starting from $30.68 per hour, Saturday pay rate: $38.35/hr, and Sunday pay rate: $46.01/hr (plus applicable penalty and public holiday rates)**
