Service Bartender (Full-Time)

Located in the heart of Canada's capital next door to the Parliament Buildings, the landmark Fairmont Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa is looking to fill a role of Service Bartender (Full-Time).

Reporting to the Outlets Leadership Team, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Mix drinks to standards and follow established service guidelines and practices
• Perform stock inventories
• Ensure total guest satisfaction
• Timely complete all duties and tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage 
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous bartending experience required
• Smart Serve Certification required
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment
• Fluent in both official languages an asset
• Excellent wine, liquor and cocktail knowledge
• Team player
• Good organizational skills

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
