Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Senior Electrician to join our Technical Department at Swissotel Wellness Resort Alatau Almaty. The Senior Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of the hotel’s electrical systems, equipment, and networks, guaranteeing uninterrupted operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical installations and equipment up to 1000 V.

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and necessary repairs of electrical systems.

• Conduct installation and dismantling of electrical networks and equipment.

• Record and report equipment performance, malfunctions, and completed repairs.

• Support hotel departments by responding to service requests and technical tasks.

• Participate in testing, commissioning, and acceptance of new equipment.

• Ensure proper energy usage and support energy-saving initiatives.

• Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation.

• Adhere to occupational health, fire safety, and sanitation regulations.

• Collaborate with contractors and technical service providers when required.

Education & Experience:

• Technical secondary education or higher in electrical engineering.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.

• Valid electrical safety clearance (Group III, up to 1000 V).

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of electrical installation rules, maintenance, and safety standards.

• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical equipment and systems.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and documentation.

• Responsibility, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

• Full-time position, 5/2 schedule (09:00 – 18:00).
