IT & Software - Category Expertise
- Own & propose category strategy for Software & IT categories
- Develop and support sourcing strategy for Software & IT.
- Ease, formulate and deliver the category strategy, the understanding of drivers, market forces, SWOT
- Support category knowledge to grow procurement offers and drive category expertise
IT & Software - Suppliers management & market Knowledge
- Manage International Software & IT contracts
- Secure sustainable partnership with strategic suppliers
- Accountable for category suppliers’ management (Governance & Business Review)
- Secure supplier selection processes with RFI / RFQ
- Ensure the best conditions in the market
- Ease business & market intelligence
Spend & Budget
- Control spend of Software & IT and deliver savings as per plan
- Responsible for the budget achievement and for cost optimization (cost out & savings)
- Manage remuneration processes
- Crunch data
Software & IT - Support Category Visibility
- Support and actively promote the Group procurement functions for indirect procurement
- Develop category communities for Software & IT
- Align category strategy with BDT
- Communicate, co-operate and involve relevant stakeholders to drive the overall strategy
- Engage and secure an open and direct dialogue with stakeholders
- Able to sell solutions internally, but also to external customers
- Ease & support the IT savings targets with managing from A to Z projects
Coordination of transversal projects
- Participation in projects for Sustainability & ESG
- Inflation/Deflation reporting and tracking
- Identify and implement solution to increase capture rate for direct procurement
- Track KPIs implementation to monitor category performance & adoption
- Report & follow remuneration processes (declaration, budget, forecasts, payments, etc.)
As Senior Category Manager you should :
- Demonstrate agility & resilience to changes
- Be able to deal with Direct & Indirect procurement for Software & IT
- Lead at an international level the Guest Technologies portfolio (suppliers, hotels, customers)
- Maintain and improve global performance (Contract, data, savings)
- Be able to develop the relationship will all brands and customers to increase compliance
- Develop leadership with internal/external customers to satisfy their expectations by increasing business opportunities worldwide
- Position is international, and requires to deal with many international stakeholders
- Manage market uncertainty
In addition, as the right candidate, you should have the below requested formation & experience :
- At least 5 years experience indirect & direct procurement with an international background
- Relevant work experience in negotiation
- Proven track record as a category manager & Buyer
- Awareness in distribution, BtB, or BtC, E-commerce
- Contract management
- Experience in required categories
- Hospitality experience is a plus
Last but not the least, the candidate should have :
- Ability to listen & understand to customer’s needs (stakeholders & hotels) in order to drive GT portofolio
- Able to work in international environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Influencing skills & ease flexibility in approach between different stakeholders
- Personal integrity and strong work ethics
- Required language skills: Fluent English (Daily working language), French will be a plus and any others.
