Job Description

What you’ll do...

As the Sales Coordinator, you will support the commercial team across three properties: Hyde Mexico City Reforma, Mama Shelter Roma and Mondrian Mexico City Condesa. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of sales activities, administrative processes, client follow-up, reporting, and internal communication to help drive revenue performance across all market segments.

You will work closely with the Director of Sales, Sales Managers, Revenue, Marketing, Reservations and Operations teams to ensure that sales initiatives are executed efficiently and in alignment with brand and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in the coordination and execution of daily sales activities across all three properties.
  • Assist in preparing, updating and compiling information for the strategic sales plan, monthly SMART goals, annual goals, forecasts, sales reports and other commercial documents as required.
  • Maintain accurate client, account and activity information in the appropriate systems and databases.
  • Coordinate sales presentations, site inspections, property tours, client meetings and familiarization visits.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, client communications and follow-up materials under the guidance of the sales team.
  • Support the team in tracking leads, opportunities, pending follow-ups and confirmed business.
  • Assist with prospecting activities, including database updates, market research, lead sourcing and account mapping.
  • Coordinate internal communication with Reservations, Revenue, Marketing, Finance and Operations to ensure client requests and confirmed business are properly handled.
  • Support the preparation of customer call reports, business review materials, sales meeting presentations and other commercial updates.
  • Maintain product knowledge at all times, including room types, meeting spaces, F&B offerings, rate structures, packages, promotions and brand differentiators.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of hotel systems including CRS, GDS, PMS, sales platforms and reporting tools, as applicable.
  • Assist in identifying need periods, market opportunities and potential sales actions based on team direction.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, sales trips, trade show participation, client events and industry activities when required.
  • Support the organization and execution of sales blitzes, networking activities, client events and promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and professional responses to client inquiries, requests for information and internal follow-ups.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical files for contracts, proposals, client correspondence and sales documentation.
  • Track production, room nights, revenue, activities and other sales KPIs as requested by the commercial leadership team.
  • Represent the hotel professionally in client-facing interactions, events and community or industry activities when required.
  • Participate as a team player with other key departments and leadership members.
  • Be a role model for collaboration, organization, service culture and brand standards.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

About You...

  • You have previous experience in sales, sales coordination, sales administration, or a related commercial role, preferably within an upscale, lifestyle, or hospitality brand.
  • You have 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role within hotels, travel agencies, groups, events, reservations, or commercial departments.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • You have knowledge or familiarity with hotel and sales systems such as PMS, CRS, GDS, CRM platforms, sales tools, and reporting systems.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • You are highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented.
  • You are able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and projects at the same time.
  • You can work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate sound judgment.
  • You communicate effectively with different teams, levels, and areas of the business.
  • You are able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • You execute. You get things done. You follow up and solve problems.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and stay on top of every project.
  • You are a strong multitasker with excellent organizational skills.
  • You bring a positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm to support the success of the commercial team.
  • You are humble, collaborative, and understand that there is no room for egos or drama.
  • You have the flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays when the operation or events require it.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
